Maud Public School will have its annual Fall Carnival on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the Maud Community Center. It will start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. The 21st Century After School Program will not be in session on Thursday, October 26, 2023, due to the Fall Carnival. However, the 21st Century After School Program will have 3 free booths at the Fall Carnival.
Our Book Blast event has just a few days left. The response has been amazing. Thank you so much for your support! There is still time to get in on the fun. Keep those contributions coming. Remember, 100% of all contributions stay with the school in the form of books for our students and books for our school. We still have a couple of Treasure Chests and one iPad to give away.

Our 1st Nine Weeks AR Field Trip to Cornerstone Ranch in Ada, OK has been canceled due to the impending rain. We will be taking students who met their 1st Nine Weeks AR Goal to the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum in Seminole, OK on November 2, 2023. Another permission slip will be sent home. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Fall class parties will start at 2:00 p.m. We know homemade treats are always the best, but due to student allergies please send store-bought class party treats.
Friday, October 27, 2023, is scheduled as a No School Day on the calendar.

This is a reminder that tonight is Senior Night. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 PM.
At the football game on Friday, we will have Chick Fil A sandwiches as a fundraiser for our Cross Country team. Come and enjoy some football and a chicken sandwich.
Red Ribbon Week, October 23-26!
Thank you to everyone who came to watch Donkey Basketball last night. It was a great night with some amazing donkey riding skills.
The donkeys have arrived!

Donkey Basketball is tomorrow evening at 7pm in the basketball gym. $7 tickets are still available tomorrow until the end of the school day. Please see Ms Townsing or call the High School for further information. Tickets will be $10 at the door. 5 and under are free. 12 and under get free donkey rides at half time. Concession will be available. Come out and support our Maud students, teachers, alumni, and community members as we play off against each other and raise some money for Maud Public Schools. It will be a great night! We hope to see you there.
This is a reminder our 5th and 6th Grade will play in the basketball tournament at Macomb this evening. The girls will play starting at 6:30 p.m. Students will need to be at Maud High School by 5:20 p.m. as the bus will leave at 5:30 p.m.
Attention, adventurers! Our Book Blast event starts next week where we will set off in search of treasure to build our students' home libraries. Follow the steps on the Treasure Map coming home next week (October 23, 2023) to embark on an epic quest to earn exciting rewards and books.
There were some problem-solving skills going on in Mrs. Whitehill's 21st Century After School Class. This project is called, Saving Fred. Students had to work together and figure out how to save Fred (gummy worm) with a life preserver (gummy lifesaver) using paper clips. Great job-saving Fred!
Our 21st Century After School 3rd and 4th Grade classes have been learning how to sew with Mrs. Sabrina. The students have made their own microwave popcorn bags. They did an amazing job!

Learning Enrichment packets will be sent home with our 21st Century After School students this evening at 5:15 PM so our students can enjoy at-home activities tomorrow.
Our 5th & 6th Grade will be participating in a basketball tournament on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Macomb. Girls will play at 6:30 PM and boys will play at 7:15 PM.

The 3rd and 4th Grade will have a basketball game on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Asher. The game starts at 9:30 AM.
Our Ag students have been working hard in the greenhouse. They will grow these plants up over the winter and they will be ready to sell in the Spring.
