Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we approach the conclusion of the 21st CCLC Summer Program, we want to remind you that tomorrow, June 28, 2024, will be the final day. Throughout this summer, students have engaged in a variety of enriching activities and learning experiences centered around the theme "Citizens/Heroes of the World."
Under the guidance of dedicated instructors, students have explored the lives and contributions of remarkable figures such as Amelia Earhart, Chickasaw Citizen Te Ata, Babe Ruth, Albert Einstein, and Neil Armstrong. They have also participated in art projects, swimming sessions, fishing excursions, basic archery lessons, and practical math applications for baking.
Moreover, students had the opportunity to visit historical sites like the Harn Homestead, a significant 10-acre property established during the Great Land Run of 1889. Today, we concluded our educational journey with a visit to the Oklahoma History Center.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all parents for entrusting us with your child's participation in the Summer Program. Special thanks to our dedicated teachers and student employees whose hard work and commitment have been instrumental in making this program a resounding success.
Thank you for your unwavering support.
