Each month throughout the school year, both the middle school and high school have two students selected as student of the month. This award is one that is voted on by teachers and staff. The month of October had a specific focus, initiative. These students have been observed many times, taking initiative, and assisting or helping their fellow students and teachers independently without prompting. Congratulations to our October Student of the Month recipients! Middle School: Payton Collins and Adam Shatto, High School: Shaelynn Fletcher and Zane Reinhardt!
Each year, Maud's 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Program hosts three complimentary booths at the Fall Carnival to commemorate Lights On After School. This year, students participated in various activities, including playing Cornhole, enjoying face painting, and engaging in arts and crafts.
Additionally, 21st CCLC parents were invited to enter a drawing for a Fall Basket, generously donated by one of our supporters from Ada. The basket included a fall-themed kitchen towel, a decorative fall gnome, items from Bath and Body (hand soap, aromatherapy lotion, and a candle), and some chocolate chip cookie cups. We are pleased to announce that the winner of the basket was Shauna Warren.
The 3rd & 4th Grade will have a basketball game on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, in the High School Gym starting at 9:30 AM. We will be playing against Konawa.

Good Afternoon, This is a friendly reminder that Maud Public School will host its annual Fall Carnival on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Fall Carnival will be located at the Maud Community Center. Please note that the 21st Century After School Program will not be in session on this day to allow our teachers ample opportunity to prepare their booths for the carnival. Football Senior Night will take place at 6:30 P.M. before the game on Friday, November 1st. Please come out to help recognize our seniors and their parents. Go Tigers!

The 5/6 grade boys and girls finish up the Macomb tourney tomorrow! Parents, the bus will leave from the high school gym at 9:45am. Thank you!
The Senior Class fundraiser Car Bash and family movie night scheduled for tonight and tomorrow night have been cancelled. New dates TBA.
Parents we currently have an issue with our phones, all secondary students have access to their devices at this time. We are working to resolve the issue.

ELEMENTARY BASKETBALL starts next week! Our 5/6 grade teams will be in the Macomb tourney starting MONDAY, 10/14/24. The bus will leave at 5:45 from the high school! Our 3/4 grade teams kick off their season WEDNESDAY, 10/16 at Macomb as well! Start time is 9:30. Parents, sports physicals MUST be on file for all athletes, including elementary. Good luck TIGERS!
